Fire alarm frustrations at Splash
Hundreds of Ocean Village residents at Splash (Sapphire Court and Cobalt Quarter) were kept awake last night by blaring fire alarms and are enduring a second day of disturbance, simply because nobody will come to silence the alarms.
The false alarm was caused by a smashed call point in the residential complex at 21:15 on Friday evening. Fire brigade teams from St Mary’s station have attended the scene twice, wasting two hours on site on Friday night and another two hours on Saturday morning.
